What content types can QDO manage?
To take advantage of the mark-up and annotation capabilities inherent in the PDF format, QDO offers the greatest benefits when working with PDF documents. Any document can easily be converted to a PDF document to enabling the portability of the PDF format to be leveraged to the fullest. QDO also manages text documents (using its embedded word processor) and Mind Maps. We will likely be adding compatibility for video recordings, audio recordings, and still images in the future.
Can QDO be used on Apple/Mac/iPad and other devices?
Yes. We do offer QDO for web-based access, allowing use on any hardware platform with a current standard web browser (Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, Chrome, and others). This service is available at additional cost. Please contact us for details.

Does QDO utilize encryption or other security measures?
QDO maintains all information in a fully-encrypted (to NSA standards) database that resides on your personal PC. No QDO-managed information is transmitted across the Internet (except, for example, when the user chooses to email a QDO-managed resource).
While this encryption complies with HIPAA requirements, it is your obligation to meet other HIPAA requirements including physical facility security, backup/recoverability, etc.
Can QDO be run on a network in multi-user mode?
The foundation of QDO's design permits multi-user operation, allowing for access to QDO-managed data throughout an office. The "front-end" (user login screens, for example) have not yet been implemented. This means QDO is currently configured to run only on a single-user platform. If you wish to use QDO immediately in multi-user mode, please contact us.
Support OptionsA variety of support options is available including free forum view-only support, optional 'Basic' level support agreement (FREE with annual subscription, otherwise extra cost), and optional 'PLUS' level support agreement (extra cost).

General "How Do I" questions are answered on our 24/7 user forum accessible for viewing by all registered users. We encourage users to collaborate and offer their own tips and tricks. All subscribers with Basic or PLUS service agreements may also post to the forum.
Support Agreements ('Basic' and 'PLUS')
Basic support is included at no extra charge in all annual subscription plans. PLUS level support is available at additional charge. Customized support agreements are available - contact us for details.
Help Desk
Bug reports may be submitted to our help desk to receive individualized assistance. The help desk is monitored 7 days per week - weekend and holidays included. (requires optional PLUS support agreement)

We connect to your PC at a mutually convenient time and assist you in resolving the issue - weekends and holidays included (available with specific support plans).
